Rare collections ? Gun values ?
"The 1858 remington army" ?
Don't ask me...
About GUN COLLECTIONS - OzPianoman says: Antiques of any type are a challenge, but being familiar with old musical instruments I can let buyers know what to look for.
With antique firearms it's different. About Guns I know nothing ! Simply happened upon a Collector who didn't mention his collection.
 | Antique guns? ...Ken emailed me about pianos! And I imagined "Classic Arms" might be a hotel or a guest house somewhere; What has since emerged is quite a story!
Careful now, you might just become hooked on the collection and - like me, inspired by its potential.
Ken's antique guns collection - finely crafted civil war and other handguns, celebrates decades of stupendous work by his now elderly Gunsmith friend.
Strange it seemed, that an antique collection of famous Colt revolvers might consist of Wooden(?) replicas of the most used pistols of the civil war years. Truth is however, opting in his youth to simply carve a handgun in wood - Samuel Colt actually broke New Ground in the firearms industry. From that viewpoint, Talbot's creation of Working Wooden Masterpieces is entirely appropriate. And ... dare I say it ? This is an ongoing work of art that will never, can never be duplicated !
In addition to Colt's army model 1860 and the 1851 navy colt, this rare collection of colt revolvers includes .45 Peacemaker, the Dragoon - plus some old Remington and Webley handguns completing this fabulous collection of 14 rare firearms.
All are contained within superbly hand crafted display boxes - and each has what were the original accessories.
